* A stakeholder is any individual, group or organisation who can affect or is affected by the achievement of the system`s objectives.
What you are going to do in each module of the analysis:
1
Environment scan: identify all stakeholders in the system’s environment and assign them to categories. Use the suggestions provided in the table: edit, delete or add stakeholders. Result: a set of the system’s stakeholders.
2
Balance of power: evaluate the direct mutual impact of all stakeholders based on the analysis of "everyone with each other" in order to learn their roles in the environment. The pairs of stakeholders to be assessed are going to be shown automatically one by one. You can also choose them manually from the list provided at any time. Result: a set of critical stakeholders and a map of stakeholders in the environment.
3
Strategic performance indicators (KPIs): provide indicators that you use in order to monitor and assess the achievement of the system’s strategic goals and rank them by adding weights. Result: a ranking of strategic performance indicators.
4
Management controls: assess the direct impact of each stakeholder on each strategic performance indicator, and learn how stakeholders influence the achievement of the system’s strategic goals. Result: a set of key stakeholders.
5
Strategic choices: indicate the strategic stakeholders of the system by choosing them from the set provided. Then, define the character of their influence on the system. Result: a set and a map of strategic stakeholders of the system.
